In short:
In two steps for the classic yellow gold model. The chart plots every price we read, with each price rise shaded as a window rather than pinned to a date, because the captures only show the price before and after.

The 22 September 2025 capture is Cartier's Access Denied page, so it is recorded here as unusable rather than read. The medium model first appears in the 11 December 2024 capture at $6,100; it is absent from the 22 February 2024 capture.
Not on these reads. Consumer prices rose 21.2% from November 2021 to September 2026, the latest month BLS had published on 23 October 2026; the classic yellow gold bracelet rose 15.2% and the small model 19.1%. The medium model, which has a shorter history, rose 8.7% from 11 December 2024, against 6.8% for consumer prices over that span, so it is the one model that has run ahead. All of this is nominal US dollars on the web list price; it says nothing about the price of gold, which we could not read (below).
Less, on the platform we could read. Fashionphile listed 74 Cartier LOVE bracelets on 23 October 2026; seven were the plain 18K yellow gold classic, asking $5,995 to $7,295, a median of $6,250, which is 78.6% of Cartier's $7,950 list price. The lowest ask was 75.4% of it and the highest 91.8%. One platform and seven bracelets is a thin sample, not a market price.
Fashionphile prints an Est. Retail figure and a percent-below-retail badge on most listings. We recomputed the badge on all 52 listings that carried one, from each listing's own price and Est. Retail, and none differed from our arithmetic by more than a point; its Est. Retail for the plain yellow gold classic, $7,950, is the figure on Cartier's own page the same day. That checks the arithmetic and the retail reference, not the condition grade or the authenticity of any bracelet.
Authentication is the buyer's other question. The RealReal says on its own authentication page that it physically examines every item and uses X-ray fluorescence machines to detect the metal alloys in jewelry; that is the platform's claim, which we report and did not test. For how jewelers describe what follows a sale, see our return and resize policy comparison, and for a worked price comparison across jewelers, the lab-grown diamond price basket.
Four things. First, the price of gold: the LBMA price pages answered a bot challenge, which we did not bypass, so the page compares against consumer prices only, not against the metal. Second, boutique prices, which can differ from the web list. Third, anything between captures: Cartier may have changed a price and changed it back inside a window, and a window is not a date. Fourth, identity across names: before December 2024 the listing calls the plain bracelet "LOVE BRACELET" and afterwards "LOVE BRACELET, CLASSIC MODEL" beside a new medium model; we read them as one product because the $7,350 yellow gold price is the same in the captures on both sides of the rename.
A list price is a price on a day. If a seller, a forum or an article quotes a Cartier price, ask which day it was read, and check it against Cartier's own page for your country, since US prices exclude sales tax and other countries are priced separately. Resale asking prices should be compared with the list price of the exact model, metal and size, not with a rounded figure.
On 23 October 2026, in a desktop browser, we opened the live Cartier US LOVE bracelet page and 11 dated captures of it stored by the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, found by opening nearby dates and reading the capture the Archive returned. From each page we read the price printed beside the plain 18K gold LOVE bracelet in each model and metal, ignoring diamond-set and other variants. We took consumer prices from the Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI-U table for the month of each capture, and the latest published month (September 2026) for the live read. We read Fashionphile's own search results for the bracelet, loading all 74 listings. We did not buy, bid on or contact anyone. The reads are held in this property's dataset registry and every number on the page is computed from them; the next read is January 2027.
