Has Cartier raised the price of every line?

Every line we read, in the last increase. Between 5 September 2025 and 24 November 2025 each of the eight lines moved up by 7.1% to 11.4%, and 6 of them had already moved earlier in 2025. Over the whole span the lines differ widely: from 13.6% (LOVE ring, small) to 65.5% (Trinity ring, classic), against 21.2% for consumer prices over the longest span. These are web list prices for the US site, before tax.

In short:

When did each line rise?

Only to within a window, because a capture shows the price on its own day and nothing in between. The chart draws every rise as the shaded span between the two captures that bracket it, with a dot for each capture, so a wide window is honestly wide. Two periods stand out: late 2022 to May 2023, when 7 of the 8 lines rose, and September to November 2025, when all 8 did.

Which lines beat inflation?

4 of 8. Consumer prices (BLS CPI-U) rose from 6.1% to 21.2% over the lines' own spans, the spans differing because some lines were first read later. The Trinity ring runs far ahead (65.5% and 65.0% against 21.2%). Above consumer prices over their own spans: Trinity ring, classic, Trinity ring, small, Juste un Clou, small, LOVE ring, small. Below: LOVE bracelet, small, LOVE ring, classic, Juste un Clou, classic, LOVE bracelet, classic. The lines first read later (the small Juste un Clou in December 2022, the small LOVE ring in January 2025) have shorter spans with their own CPI figure beside them.

Each bar is the percent change from that line's first read to the live price; the brass diamond is the BLS CPI-U change over the same span. All figures are nominal US dollars on the web list price; they say nothing about the price of gold, which we could not read.

What could we not read, and what does it change?

Four things. The price of gold (the LBMA price pages sit behind a bot challenge we did not bypass). Boutique prices, which can differ from the web list. Anything inside a window: a price can move twice, or move and move back, between two captures, and a wide window such as the 571 days for the Trinity ring proves less than a narrow one. And identity across names: the Trinity listing called the classic model "TRINITY RING, CLASSIC" in 2021 to 2023 and "TRINITY RING, CLASSIC MODEL" from 2024, and both are read as one line, as are the small models; if Cartier changed what a model contains while keeping its name, the series would hide it. The page reads plain 18K yellow gold for LOVE and Juste un Clou and the tri-colour Trinity; diamond-set and other metals are not covered.

Resale asking prices for these lines sit on platforms such as Fashionphile and The RealReal; we read the LOVE bracelet's (see its price history) and did not read the other lines', so this page makes no resale claim for them.

Ask which line and which day
A claim that "Cartier raised prices" is true of some lines on some days. Before you act on one, ask which collection and model it means, which currency and which country's site, and what date the price was read. Cartier's own page for your country is the only list price; a resale listing is an asking price, not Cartier's.

Which reader should do what?

For how the same houses' resale channels are described, see Chrome Hearts: where it is sold and what resale asks.

How we compiled this

Method

On 23 October 2026, in a desktop browser, we opened the live Cartier US collection pages for LOVE bracelets, LOVE rings, Juste un Clou bracelets and Trinity rings, and, for each, dated captures of the same page stored by the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, found by opening nearby dates and reading the capture the Archive returned. From each page we took the price printed beside the named plain-gold model. We compared with the BLS CPI-U table for the month of each capture, and the latest published month (September 2026) for the live read. A rise is recorded as the window between the last capture at the old price and the first at the new. We did not buy, bid or contact anyone. The reads are held in this property's dataset registry and every number on the page is computed from them; the next read is January 2027.

Yes, on every line we read. Between 5 September 2025 and 24 November 2025, eight US lines (LOVE bracelet and ring, Juste un Clou bracelet and Trinity ring, classic and small) rose by 7.1% to 11.4%; 6 of them had already risen earlier in 2025. The exact date of the rise is not known; captures place it inside that window.

The Trinity ring: 65.5% for the trinity ring, classic and 65.0% for the trinity ring, small from 9 Nov 2021 to 23 October 2026, against 21.2% for consumer prices. The LOVE bracelet's classic model is up 15.2% over the same span.
